Welcome to our April newsletter. We recently celebrated our participant Ann’s 91st birthday, enjoyed a guest pianist and ran an auction–all part of our activities programs. Aged Rights Advocacy Service and Beyond Blue visited also.
Enjoy this edition and please get in touch if you have any questions.

ARAS & Beyond Blue
Aged Rights Advocacy Service and Beyond Blue speakers made presentations to us this month. It was wonderful to hear about how ARAS assists seniors to access and interact with the community or residential aged care service providers. In addition, Beyond Blue’s speaker shared his personal story to improve our awareness of Depression, Anxiety and Suicide.
If you would like any more information please advise Staff.

Just for laughs
My grandson saw the empty toilet paper shelves and asked, “does this mean everyone will start using Pull-ups?”. I replied, “It ‘depends’ “.

Care & Share auction
An Auction was held at Care and Share this week. Staff collected items we thought our Participants would appreciate and our Auctioneer sold them accepting beads for money. Much fun was had when a bidding war ensued.
